Garden during spring and summer under Covid-19 lockdown
Sort of garden diary, so you need to re-visit every few days or weeks. Lots more to come if we're going to be in lockdown for the rest of the year

Trying to find some inspiration and watched a YouTube video about photographing flowers. Decided to give it a go and quite pleased with the result. Need to work on focussing & shutter speed, but otherwise good backgrounds, cropping and vignetting! Hummm!

A few snaps off the iPhone of some of the minor things that have been done the last few days. Irrigation system almost complete, Tomato baskets up, Log Roll around the double height veggie bed and grass cut & edged. Oh, and the Kolkwitzia is in full bloom!

OK, so the sun's gone and there is a breeze, so the fluffy clouds are not there either. Nevertheless there has been lots of progress in the last week or so. See if you can spot the changes! Some are quite subtle, others are obvious, like the irrigation system for the veg beds and the greenhouse interior. Hanging baskets all planted up and waiting for the Monday night frost to pass by

19th April - What a difference a couple of days make weather wise.
17th April and a month into the Coronavirus lockdown, the garden has been our saviour.
So many projects that thave been put off for so long have come to fruition, and there are many more on the list.
Progress so far:
Raised beds replaced and moved
Slab paths relaid
Patio pressure washed
Pond clean out
New waterfall spill installed
Two benches sanded and restrained (one to go)
Succession salad planting
Greenhouse full of plants, cuttings, seed and seedlings
Shed roofing felt replaced
